Joining paragraphs

WALT: use linking sentences to join our paragraphs

Here is an example of two paragraphs that I have linked together with linking sentences. This is from my information report - Making Choices.

"Decisions - We all have to make them but sometimes they aren't too easy. Things that influence our choices can be close to you and some can just be the TV, like family, friends, role models, and media.

Family has one of the biggest impacts on our decisions."

As you can see I joined these paragraphs by relating it to the end of the first paragraph (both mention the word family).

My next learning step is: to try and use across all learning.

We are here

After 7 hours and 30 minutes on 2 planes we are finally here. The first day we got here it was 30 degrees and we went to the Adelaide market there was pigeons for sale to eat in the meat section . And we went to this place called Daniels for dinner. We walked down Rundle mall and it is so cool it has heaps of shops it looks like Cashel street mall before the earthquake.
