speech - TV programmes

W.A.L.T: write a persuasive argument

Dear TV producer

This complaint is about TV programmes and ads that have crime and things that are bad for kids when they are still quiet young.

TV is something nearly everyone comes home to everyday. It is something people get all the latest news on and come home and relax with, so do kids. We don't want our kids to have nightmares or get scarred by something on the TV.

These ads and programmes can freak people out. Would you like a 5 year old to see even a TV ad about the mentalist or CSI programmes. Children can grow up to do the things they see. A teenager killed his brother who was 10 years old at the time. He was inspired by the TV series dexter. They might not even want to go outside if they watch too much of it.

Your kids normally have afternoon activates and get home later and just want to rest without being completely freaked out  by an ad on TV. Kids that are 12-13 years old even older , can still get freaked out. The average time for kids to go to bed is around 9:00 - 9:30. I know that there lots of rumors that go around and that will also not help with being freaked out by the TV.

so overall I think that all the TV programmes and ads that have crime and killing in them should be on after 10:00pm because people can grow up to be inspired by bad TV programmes and lots of kids can get nightmares because of the TV. This could stop some deaths and people getting hurt if the programmes with killing and crime are on later at night.

The solo level I have reached for my speech is relational because I didn't do a good side and a bad side.

The solo level I have reached for my surface features is relational because  I didn't use to many commas or speech marks.

My next step is to do a good side and a bad side to my speech.
