Maths multipcation

I have been learning how to be do 3-digit by 2-digit multiplication

125  first you times the 4 by 5 which =20 so it would look like 125 then the 4 times 2  125 =10
x34                                                                                               x34    add the 2 above  x34
                                                                                                          0                               500
                                                                                                        times 4 x1 1= 4 + 1 =5
now do the same with the 3

  500
3750 now add it together first the 0's then 0 and 5 then 5 and 7
4250 here is your answer
