Leadership

On Wednesday it rained so I had wet day. Now we have to look after rooms 14,15,16,17,18, and 19
but there is year 6's in each class and me and Rebecca roam around and make sure everything is running nicely and if there is any big problems we look after them as well. Sometimes it isn't just like we are looking after the little kids it is we are looking after the year 6's as well. It also rained on Thursday so we looked after the kids on Thursday too.

Goals

My goals at the start of the year were to get a leadership badge and to do lots of leadership roles.



Badge:
I only need to do 2 more post and then I will have a badge.

Roles:
I am doing lots because being a house captain comes with a lot of leadership roles to do but I wont be doing wet days that much anymore.

Leadership Tech

On Tuesday we had tech I am in woodwork and I didn't think that I could finish my speaker box because I hadn't been at tech for couple weeks but now I am actually going to finish it. On the bus it was very loud but my bus Buddy's and I did the right thing on the bus.

Koru Games

Over the last three days we have been at Koru Games, which is a tournament were we verse lots of different schools in lots of different sports.

I really enjoyed playing netball because we came 8th and we won lots of games.

Thinking back to the beginning of the year, we really improved. At the start of the year we didn't know how everyone played and we didn't know how to play together as a team and now we do!!

The thing that I will remember will be coming 8th and all the cool schools that we versed. All in all it was a really fun time and that the year sevens going to Koru games next year will have a very fun time as well.

Rebecca's speach

WALT: I can create complex sentances to make my writing more interesting.

This is an example of one of my sentences that  is a complex:

sport is good for you, it gets you running around, also it helps you make new friends.

The part that makes it a complex sentence is the also becuse it makes what could have been two sentences one. 

My next step is to get into a new wriying group.

Leadership

Today we had a  house captains and heads meeting in room 24, we talked about leadership badges and how close we are to them. Then we talked about our skits and how we are going to change them to videos so that it is easy to hear and the teachers can replay them in class if they need too. Also this week there is not going to be a skit in assembly instead I have to go up and talk about focus on the speaker and listen respectfully in assembly's.
